Our branch plays a key role in honouring those who have served in our Armed Forces, but we also offer services that benefit the entire community, young and old. We remain committed to assisting returned veterans and their families, through support services, our great facilities and much more.
Members and their families can benefit from a wide range of services offered by the Morwell RSL Sub-Branch. Whether you need assistance with pension and welfare claims, a courtesy bus to help you enjoy our facilities more freely, or educational services for local schools, we’re proud to provide these services to our members, their families and the community.
Morwell RSL Sub-Branch offers a dedicated service to assist veterans and their families with pension and welfare matters. This advocacy service helps with entitlement claims and applications specific to returned servicemen and women, such as the Dept of Veterans Affairs and the Military Compensation & Rehabilitation Service. The Morwell RSL Pension and Welfare Offices are located in Units 1 and 2, No. 11 Berg Street Morwell, directly behind the Sub-Branch’s clubrooms.

Learn MoreThe Morwell RSL Sub-Branch has volunteers on hand to conduct educational school visits. This valuable service is free to all schools in the Latrobe Valley and Gippsland Region. Teachers and students are also welcome to arrange a visit to our Sub-Branch, where we can also run educational sessions and students can explore military memorabilia.
We offer a courtesy bus to full members, which will pick you up at your home or any other pub or club in the area and bring you to the Morwell RSL Sub-Branch. Return journeys are available too, back to your home (but not to other venues). The Courtesy Bus operates during the following times:
Tuesday: 5-00pm to 10-00pm.
Wednesday: 5-00pm to 10-00pm
Friday: 5-00pm to 10-00pm.
With runs to Churchill at 5-45pm and 9-00pm.
Saturday: 6-00pm to 12-15am
