At the heart of Morwell, the Morwell RSL serves as a beacon of community spirit. Established to honour veterans and support their families, it has evolved into a cherished gathering place for locals. With its welcoming environment and range of activities, the Morwell RSL continues to foster connections and enrich the lives of all who call Morwell home.
The Morwell RSL branch was first established in 1919 and gained its charter in 1922, quickly committing itself to assisting returned servicemen and women with pensions, employment, accommodation and much more. By 1953, a Memorial Hall was built, and the Morwell Sub-Branch is now open to all who have served in our Defence or Allied forces, along with their family members.
