We take great pride in our work delivering commemoration services throughout the year, with the main two being Anzac Day and Remembrance Day. These are opportunities to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, and we remain committed to honouring them with every passing year.

ANZAC Day

Our Anzac Day commemoration service typically commences with a Dawn Service at the Morwell Cenotaph. We follow this with a “Gunfire” breakfast for members and the general public. We also organise the Commemorative March to the Cenotaph for a second Service. At the conclusion, guests are welcomed for refreshments, a sit-down meal and even some games of Two-Up.

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day takes place on November 11 each year and is a very important event in our calendar. While the services are not as extensive as Anzac Day, it is an opportunity to pay our respects to those who have fallen in service to their country. The Remembrance Day Appeal also takes place to raise money for RSL General Appeals Patriotic Fund.
